Gunports

National Bullet Proof, Inc. (NBP) manufactures bullet resistant gunports with Balistex® steel.  NBP’s gunport designs have been tested by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).  We offer the option to attach a UL Listed Label to attest to the product’s level of ballistic protection for gunports with Levels 3 and 4. Additionally, NBP can supply gunports to meet the requirements of other UL Levels as well as the National Institute of Justice (NIJ)

The NGP series of gunports are bullet resistant in their dormant position and feature automatic slide retraction after use.

The gunports include a smooth cornered Balistex® steel housing with polished stainless steel slide and handle.  The slide locks upon closing to provide tamper resistance from the threat side of the gunport.  A prime painted grey finish on the product’s body is standard.

The gunport can be installed to have vertical or horizontal slide movement.  It is opened for use by hand or the weapon barrel.

The NGP series gunport is typically used in guard enclosures, towers, modular wall panels, doors and below windows.
