What do UL ratings mean?

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) develops and publishes standards in the safety and performance of products.  National Bullet Proof, Inc. has had our equipment tested and verified at various UL standards.  We offer both bullet resistant and fire classified equipment that has been certified by UL.  For further information regarding UL ratings, see our “Educate” page.

What does NIJ ratings mean?

The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) has set standards in the level of ballistic protection.  National Bullet Proof, Inc. can manufacture many products that meet NIJ standards.

What is the pricing?

Our prices are dependent on several factors including the scope and size of the requested items and current market prices for the raw materials used in the equipment.  National Bullet Proof, Inc. prides itself in competitive pricing within the bullet resistant market.  Please contact our sales team to determine current pricing on any of our products. Do you have stocked standard items?

Yes, many of our products are stocked and ready for immediate shipment

What are the shipping options?

We utilize the services of several logistic companies when shipping our products throughout the United States.  We price compare to ensure the lowest shipping costs.  Freight charges are calculated by the total weight of the equipment and delivery distance from our plant.  We can also ship your order using your preferred shipping method.  Additionally, customers local to the Chicago area are welcome to pick up products directly from our loading dock.

What is the typical lead time?

Custom made orders are dependent on the size and scope of the order.  We will work diligently to complete your order as quickly as possible without undermining the quality of our product.

What are the size constraints for custom orders?
