Windows

National Bullet Proof, Inc. (NBP) manufactures Bullet Resistant (BR) window assemblies with Balistex® steel.  NBP’s window frame designs have been tested by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).  We offer the option to attach a UL Listed Label to attest to the window frame’s level of ballistic protection with ballistic ratings of 1 through 4.  Additionally, NBP can supply the equivalency of UL Levels 5 through 8 as well as meet National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Standards.

NBP manufactures standard and custom BR window frames in various profiles to meet our client’s needs.  Our framing profiles include SRF, AF/TF, COF, and GH. These window types and framings offer flexibility to meet each project’s requirements.  Options for the window frames include horizontal or vertical mullions.  The welded frames have interior applied glass stops.  Window assemblies manufactured by NBP are available at all ballistic threat levels and can accept any security glazing currently available.  Frames are designed for installation into any wall system as well as any wall thickness.  Finishing includes primed for painting or polished stainless steel.

All framing options are available as a teller or vision window. The components of a teller window include 3-sided BR framing, a BR deal tray at the sill and BR transparent glazing.  A vision window has 4-sided BR framing and BR transparent glazing.  All profiles are manufactured to the project’s specifications and dimensions and can include natural sound transmission, sealed glazing, a non-amplified speak-thru or an electronic intercom system.

Window Assemblies

GH

The GH frames are designed to match the profile of a standard storefront.

SRF Framing

The SRF frame most closely matches ordinary hollow metal framing.

AF Framing

The AF/TF framing’s narrow profile maximizes clear visual opening.

COF Framing

The COF framing is a two-piece design that forms a clamp attaching the protected side of the window to the threat side.  This allows for retrofit installation with the added benefit of trimming out the rough opening in a wall.
